Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 16

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone.

Erin says thankies to everyone she's met and thankies to everyone she hasn't met for all the birthday wishes. No alcohol - she's not too fussed, although she does like to slurp the froth of the Pimms before it overflows - as for the rest of the glass - yuk. She doesn't take after me then!

We had a lovely day (in spite of having to go shopping first). Sushi was yummm as usual and even Mum tucked in and rather liked the salmon teryaki!

Back home, sort chickens out and put them to bed early. It was fairly easy, but I bet they weren't happy once they realised they were shut in. No dead bodies when I shut the doors, so they survived to go to bed.

The ice hockey is now not the last game in the season because the Basingstoke Bisons washed the floor with the Swindon Wildcats (Erin says what do they expect with the same name as High School Musical  ). We were at the end with all the action too, so rather fun. We needed Lewis because they had tech problems and the speakers were painfully loud - the only downside. But the fun taunting at the opposing supporters has made my arm worse again - it was worth it though. And one of the Swindon players pushed over one of the Bison's and he fell over and slid for several feet finally his head crashing into the goalpost. Fight! Then the Swindon player was put into the sin bin for 10 minutes for um, upsetting the referee! I think it was 7 - 1 final score (actually might have been 8 - I lost count).

Ahhh - lovely chicklets Cookie and that's a very fine run Lewis - good luck with the essay.

Morning All :D :D

Busy weekend as usual at Chez Hill :D :D Ahhhhh...I do enjoy the peace that Monday morning brings :D :D

Off to see what I have missed over the weekend on the Forum, search for pics of Cookie's new chicks then, I must attack the pile of paperwork on my desk, sort a food shop for the week, plan the dinners and do a little bit of work...whilst ignoring the piles of washing and ironing :D:D

I cant believe i got a phone call at 6 o;clock this morning from the new driver, there was something wrong with the lorry and he wanted to know if it was something stupid he was doing!!! Err, yes, ringing me!

Apparently, a pipe that has something to do with clutch has worn through and needs replacing. Nothing to do with me honest, no sabotage going on here!

Just glad it wasnt me stuck on the dock in the rain waiting for the tow truck!

I feel so sorry for the poor guy, his first day and this happens.

Not funny, really! :lol::lol::lol:

I haven't got time to read 20 odd pages worth, what's been happening?

What's happened to Tegan? :anxious:

Danny's home on holidays now, I've cut both boys hair this morning, wondering what to do this afternoon now.

Hubby took Dan to his first sporting event on Saturday evening - the ice hockey! Unfortunately I think Dan was a bit tired to fully enjoy it, as he'd spent 3 hrs at his friends house. They didn't get home until about 9:45pm and Dan immediately complained of a tummy ache, I said he was probably overtired and got him to bed. Couple of hours later he was shouting for hubby then was sick all over his bed :vom: Olly then woke up with the commotion, Dan was already in our bed, so I was in with Dan and hubby squeezed in with Olly. Such fun

He's not sure, he said it was very loud. Hubby said he didn't stop talking the whole time they were there. Think he enjoyed it, although he said he didn't want to go again when they got home. Don't think there's anymore games until the new season now - August? So he might change his mind by then.

Hubby's taking him to the football next, he bought the tickets today, for the last game of the season I think.

No, hubby's been going on his own, and Dan has asked a few times to go too. Hubby saw the ice hockey was very child friendly, so decided to take him. They've got tickets for the family stand at the football, and he's taking my grampy too. It's in the afternoon so he shouldn't be so tired and grumpy
