PeckyBeak
Welcomed our three ex-bats from Lincolnshire rescue. A bit threadbare and afraid at first:- .JPG' alt='icon_cool.gif.a3dc8a934af7f11286d1c23cf3786d9f.gif' alt='8)'>.JPG'> Steadier on feet now, and getting to grips with roosting bar... Less spaced out now, interested in new things... Whatever this green thing is, we like it! First steps out after 10 days semi-freedom... Exploring... Nice here, innit? One even enjoyed her first worms... How did she know?

Margalot
Oh Wow! they look so bewildered, what must they be thinking? all that freedom and new experiences, this brought tears to my eyes , so well done for your rescue and kindness, they have a new lease of life now, what a wonderful life they now have Michelle
Lavenders_Blue
I had forgotten how pale their faces and combs look when they come out of their cages... poor little s"Ooops, word censored!"s. Their new home looks wonderful though and it's great to see them starting to grow in confidence and try new things. As for the worm... I don't know how they recognise them, but it doesn't take long, does it?! It was only a matter of weeks with mine before I couldn't even pick up a garden fork without finding a load of hens under my feet, tripping me up in their excitement for worms!
