Wanted - Eglu Cube Mk1 Roosting Bars

We are back from our holiday and the chickens back from their luxury stay c/o Lewis (many, many thanks).

 

We had a fabby time in Norfolk. I had no idea that DH's cousin has been a "guerilla gardener" for over 40 years (well, not quite guerilla - he did ask the farmers if he could plant a few trees here and there along the roadside). He has completely transformed the landscape in his bit of Norfolk - not bleak and flat, but now tree-lined and beautiful. Everywhere you look there are his trees.

 

Visited a wildlife reserve (Strumpshaw Fen, where I got some great pictures of the marsh harriers) and also a farm being managed specifically for wildlife and nature conservation (High Ash Farm), as well as the Roman Town of Caister. DH's cousin's wife also owns a beautiful water garden that is open to the public which we visited on our way home.

 

Feel very refreshed, and full of ideas! Chickens seem completely happy, back in the garden destroying the slightly-revived lawn.

So glad you had a relaxing time, you certainly deserved a break. Wow, a guerilla gardener...I do admire those people. How fantastic to be able to drive along roads he has personally transformed. Brilliant.

Your DH's cousin has me speechless what an amazing thing to do. I look at things and know what needs to be done but don't do it , like pick up all the litter on the edge of the A38.
