Its my sixth form leavers day on Thurday + we're having fancy dress.

Its been changed from beach to pyjamas to teachers to future jobs .... and ended up with 'Film Stars'

 

I'll probably end up buying/hiring a costume, but don't know what to look for

He was in films when his career first took off, and it is an unmistakable look, which makes it easier to achieve. Reckon you'd look terrific Lewis, the hair should work well, get someone to help, and definitely post photos!

Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking Woody from Toy Story, but can't find a yellow checked shirt.

 

We have to go in the costume, get changed into uniform for a formal leavers assembly + then change again into costume!

Got it! Go as a St Trinian! Did they specify which uniform you had to wear? Might save you two costume changes

Actually, I can lend you my fake bald head that I wore as Harry Hill (just added glasses and Mr Frutti's best suit with various badges and pens hehe)... then just add a lollipop and you could be KOJAK!

Or dress up as one of the Blues Brothers

Or any of the characters from Star Trek (Spock would be most recognisable)

Or get a huge pair of trousers, held up by braces, and dress up as Wallace (of Wallace and Grommit fame)

If you wanna go as John travolta from grease-I've got a t bird leather jacket you can borrow! You'd only need a white tshirt and jeans to go with it! You could get a quiff wig from masquerade on the hagley road too! Let me know if you want to borrow it! x

The latest is that half my friends are going as Star Wars + we're making suits out of bins!

Have seen a few online that are next-day delivery, so should be here in time for Thurs, just need to sort out which one
