Happy Mother's Day!

Recommended Posts

Happy Mothering Sunday from me as well.

I love your presents Ali :lol: - I usually insist on just a bunch of flowers or small pot of daffodils which I can plant in the garden, but this year I'm having to replace most of the plants I've had to leave behind at the other house......... so I've had a magnolia tree from my son :D and a camellia bush from my daughter :D - I have a feeling that the daffodils will appear later when we all go out for lunch - a combined Mother's Day / son's Birthday, which was yesterday.

Happy Mothers Day from me too!!

I'm on my own today as CTB and my one and only son are both working, maybe one and only son will remember though!

I did go downstairs to find pressies from Prada & Gucci ( :shock: ) - a bottle of cava from each of them and a bottle of champagne from Frankie the cat who also wrote me a card explaining that hens cant afford real champagne as they only get paid chicken feed and sorry but they couldn't buy me any flowers because all three of them would've eaten them on the way home!!!

:lol::lol:

My daughter excelled herself this year, with a little help from OH.

I got two homemade cards and a silver charm bracelet

The charms are;

an elephant, because i'm always forgetting things

a chicken. obviously

a frying pan with two fried eggs, my fav=ourite way to eat eggs

a tricycle, because i ride an adult tricycle

a nest with 3 eggs in, one for each of the family

a pair of knitting needles with a ball of wool, my favourite hobby

and lastly, a watering can to represent my allotment.

I don't think i've ever had such a personal present :D:D:D

Happy Mother's Day to all the forum mums!

Am enjoying my 1st mother's day, OH has excelled in thoughtfulness and earned many brownie points by getting me some choccies and a family mebership for the RSPB! Am very chuffed :D and looking forward to spending some cash on binoculars to twitch with. And both chooks gave me a large egg, which is always a nice pressie. Think I will chill a bottle of fizz for dinner tonight! Baby Daisy has a lot to live up to on future Mother's Days... :wink:

I saw those in our garden centre - they do green and another colour - maybe orange?. They are really nice. (apart from the orange ones of course :wink: )

My sister was brought breakfast in bed by my 5yr old neice - a honey sandwich (no butter) followed a bit later by.... a jelly :lol:
