chuckmum6
I have bought Flubenvet and am now looking at it and wondering how I give it to my girls who live on layers pellets? The power will just drop to the bottom if I try to mix it, any suggestions? My only thought was to soak some raisins and them mix it together? Torrin
Think I read somewhere that you can mix a little bit of oil - vegetable oil maybe? - to help it all stick together. Or honey maybe - they'd love that Soemone will hopefully be along to correct me soon

chuckmum6
Thanks for that, it seems oil or honey maybe the way to go, as it shouldn't be gobble in one go - hope you are listening girls!
Redwing
i wouldnt choose honey that would make the feeders sticky and attract insects or rodents vegetable oil or cod liver oil is good
chicken bark
It is also a good idea to mix in a few pellets first, then keeping adding and mixing. If you add all the wormer you need to all the pellets you want in one go it is difficult to get it all mixed in.

chuckmum6
I had though about mixing it in a large sweet lidded tin would work and giving it a good shake! Then I can use it to keep the food in too.
sjp
I use a large food bag for the first Kg i add 1 scoop of pellets (about 100grams) a slug of cod liver oil shake the bag then the powder shake then keep adding the pelletts the I empty the food bag into a clean unsented pedal bin bag then keep adding the next Kg of feed until I've mixed the full 2Kg tip carrier bags have holes in them you end up wareing poultry wormer
