The Dogmother
What lovely pictures Em, how on earth did you get the bears to stand still for long enough to have their piccies taken? Poppy has that 'butter wouldn't melt' look on her face
Christian
Yes both my bears were tattooed at birth but out of their own choice they have a rose and the word 'MUM' in the other ear!

SarahJo
THANK YOU SUPER-KATE . Thanks Kate for posting in the pics of Tori .... I would love to clip her in the summer as she gets soooo hot, even in the winter she prefers a cool draught from a door to a warm fire . Having said that I would not want her coat to alter, as she is very soft ... so maybe a trim with scissors is the way to go with her. With regards to sprollies - maybe because they are different sexes, they have taken on different "looks" Gooner-Girl, as Milo looks more spaniel than Tori. This would also depend on the parents too as to which genes come from which dog. There is another Tori "Ooops, word censored!" who walks locally, and she is the spitting image of Tori, just darker in colouring .

bronze
oooh a doggy thread. We trim our dogs fur with scissors but shes not a breed that needs doing. We've only done it once though as we got her towards the end of last year after we lost Scruffs (pic on other thread) All your dogs look lovely and make me want another. We're dog people and would probably have a pack if we had that lottery win (need a ticket) Anyway heres Roo

Puglet
Hi, I'm new here. I know this may be a little late, but this is something I do know a bit about, for a change. Where dog clippers are concerned you can't beat Andis or Oster. However, they can be pricey. You could try Wahls but they just don't have the power you need for certain coats. Louise
I was going to suggest Oster too they are pricey but they are superb I haven't used them on dogs but I have used them on sheep and they motored through the fleeece no problem at all
Snowy
Thanks for all the advice folks! Andis and Oster are definitely out of my price range at present. I've picked up some Wahls from ebay for £12. Even if I only get a couple of uses out of them, it'll be cheaper than the £25 a time to get him done professionally! Will have to save up for the others (after the camera, the new gutters, the collapsing porch etc )
