Just saw a new ad for Flake Well, to start with I had no idea what it was for. I was going to post a link to you tube, but it seems some people are a bit upset on there as its ripped off a Alexander McQueen Fashion Show with Kate Moss. I can't remember how to post the you tube link without the comments, so if you want to see it just look for Cadbury flake new ad.

 

Curious as to what you all think.

How very odd, you wouldn't know it was for a chocolate would you (especially with the sound off as I had it)

 

I personally can't see a problem with the fact that its the same almost as an Alexander McQueen dress or clip.

It reminded me of some kind of deep sea creature - you know those wierd ones you see on David Attenborough programmes ?

 

I suppose the folds of material are meant to look like the waves of chocolate ?

When I fisrt saw it I just assumed it was a daft perfume ad until I saw the flake! I reckon it's Flake taking the mickey

 

However her dress does look a lot like a Flake and now I want a Flake so they are doing something right!!

The over filled bath from years ago used to get me. I mean who would eat a flake in the bath? Now don't all shout at once!

Glass of wine in the bath maybe & a bathbomb, but a D.I.Y chocolate bubble bath - honestly!

I really don't like this ad!! It freaked me out a bit - i don't know why though!!

Its definitely having mixed opinions. When I first saw it I wasn't sure if I was meant to like it. It was after 10pm and I thought it may have been some 'this is what some std looks like under the microscope' type info ad. It is interesting, but it doesn't say Flake to me.

 

My fave Flake ad was the one with the woman painting the trees and it starts to rain.

Agreed it was very strange. Something about the movement made me feel almost motion sick i don't like it at all
