after having my chickens for a couple of weeks now they have settled in they are showing their personalitlies so i have been able to give them names yay!

 

pepperpots are named Margo (shes really bossy), Vicky (shes just 'yeah but...') and Winnie (is really sweet and calm)

 

gingernuts are named Gerri (Margos side kick), Thelma and Louise (cant tell them apart but they are always together!)

 

what do you think?

thanks im really enjoying them now they have names.

 

margo is always trying to mug me for corn then her gang follow suit. and vicky, well, shes living up to her name and makes a fuss about everything and cant do anything quietly and makes twice the noise of the others whilst laying an egg

We named all ours on the first day we had them, but as they grew they changed quite a lot. Deco is still easy to spot but we can't tell the other three apart unless we can get them to line up and display their breast feathers!

So - they are mostly all called "Chicken" now, which is just as well as son and husband named one IAN!
