patsylabrador
Autumn also brings in some nicer clothes. It's been a quite hilarious summer of comedy fashion and it will be nice to see some more stylishly dressed people about.
chickencam
Not just more stylish, but more apropriate too. There seem to be a lot of people who wear next to nothing in the summer, who if they had good friends or a mirror would revise their wardrobe. sage
I love the colours of the trees, one thing I miss is going out in the garden for a fag at 4.30am (early shift) the sky is so clear with twinkling stars and the stillness of the night. Don't smoke anymore and don't work shifts. Love the musty smell of damp leaves. DD middle names are Rose Autumn. Sage
Cinnamon
Funny. My eldest was very nearly named Autumn.
Blackrocksrock
I also love autumn - all the fruit on the hedgerows, the smell of bonfires, misty mornings Especially looking forward to the colder weather this year - after 4 years of our heating system gradually getting worse and worse, and some days not being able to move out of the lounge because the house was so cold, we have finally had it fixed! Can't wait for the heating to go on! (how sad is that? ) I am the same - new boiler going in within the next 3 weeks or so and just desperate for a warm house for a change particularly after last winters icy grip I am a saddo too! The Dogmother
I brought in some logs and moved the kindling up nearer the house at the weekend. I can't wait for it to be cold enough to light the stove. Not that I like the cold, mind!
