Just bought 2 home in the end as want them to eventually go in with the big girls in cube/wir

 

Mrs Summers who is almost completely bald

 

and Peggy who just has no feathers on her wings (and no tail)

 

Mrs Summers will need her bum washing tomorrow, they were really good about having some lice powder on - just stood on the table and let me get on with it - maybe they liked it

 

They are pecking around and I have seen them drink their lifeguard water, I am thrilled with them and will take better pics tomorrow when the rain stops

I had to come back to work so my son checked them when he got in - they had put themselves to bed in the I hope they are OK - can't wait to get home and check

I may have even have been the one to carry them out of the farm as the Herts/Essex team collected from the same farm as us

They are fine this am - I had an egg on the roosting bars and Mrs Summers has dug a huge hole. She is a bit of a bully though and Peggy has been sprayed with anti-peck

Yup, got quite cold, windy and wet but it was all worth it.

 

We had a few fully feathered ones, mostly they were patchy. I ended up bringing a completely oven ready lady home with me

 

Sara - If it were me I would take out the roosting bars for a few weeks until their legs are a little stronger
