Lesley
Why is Lauren dressed all in white? I know the lambs are too, but it doesn't seem to me the best choice of colour! she's not all in white, the trousers are lilac! I buy them white T shirts becasue they can go in a hot wash with teatowels and Jake has jeans. Lauren won't wear jeans - only comfortable trousers, so I buy soft trousers from Matalan - 2 pair packs -and she's taken the black ones home! The sheep are obviously crossing their legs - and waiting for the vile weather
The Dogmother
I hate to say it, but we're supposed to be getting a storm on Monday

Paola
I must remember to show the pictures to HP. They're great. HP lurves lambs. She bought a laminator at the weekend. She was so disappointed when I explained that it wasn't for making that sort of lamb. RICHARD Lovely catching up as always Great pics Clare and Lesley
Lesley
Latest arrivals!! The older black sheep - Ffion - started behaving oddly at around 4pm. We watched with Lauren and Jake until gone 7pm but she was demanding her privacy and Lauren and Jake had to go home We watched discreetly all evening and our last check was after midnight....... we went back out at 5.30 and there they were................. Two little boys! - all doing well. Here are the ones we made earlier............

Lesley
Gina - the boys have a name the moment they are born.....Dinner The course was tractor driving and Carl also did the tractor and trailer course. I had a problem with the small tractor - it wasn't as small as ours - my legs didn't quite reach the pedals That made it hard work. It was much easier in the all singing, all dancing big tractors as everything moves, including the seat! We had a great few hours - although we were worrying about the sheep - 7 hours away from the house - but nothing happened!
Popcorn
Gina - the boys have a name the moment they are born.....Dinner Great choice Lesley...but don't they come running when you call them!! That's made me giggle abouot you being too short for the peddles. Reminds me of when I leanrt to drive. i had to sit on a cushion so I could see over the steering wheel. The Dogmother
Absolutely gorgeous Lesley KIss their little noses for me. Em - she was flexing her castrator when we were up there last Friday. The first little was 'doing a Hitler', so she was waiting for the other one to descend.
Lesley
It never did though Clare so he will have to be one of the first off to the abattoir - you only have 7 days to do it. These latest additions will be done this evening
The Dogmother
How come you only have 7 days? Is it to do with the pain it might cause, or hormones?

Louise
How come you only have 7 days? Is it to do with the pain it might cause, or hormones? It is a legal requirement after 7 days it has to be done with anaesthesia and analgesia and I think by a vet It is because of the way it works a rubber ring cuts off the blood supply to the area and they just drop off after a while but it has been shown to be quite painful and at the moment the legislation is under consideration for updating to make analgesia a requirement at any age
Lesley
I haven't done the latest two little boys either - I stood poised with the castrating thingy, but then just couldn't inflict that on them The weather has turned vile and it must be enough of a struggle to just survive at times. We'll just have to fatten the boys very well - and quickly!!
Louise
They will be okay until they are about 4 months Lesley just don't encourage them to butt your hands it can be a very cute thing to see them do when they are little but when they get a bit bigger they will charge and to them it would be just a game
Lesley
Thanks Louise - I'm so glad you're back!
