Hopefully with enough pressure they'll change! Hopefully they'll reply to my email; I sent an email to my local counciller about stopping battery chickens, but no reply. We can confirm that we currently use a very small amount of egg (in the form of egg albumen) within Chewits and that this is a critical part of our recipe.This material is currently purchased from a supplier who provides egg products that are sourced from caged hens. You can post a brief outline of what was written, but I'm pretty sure that you're not allowed to copy and paste the whole thing due to privacy etc Anyway, at least they have finally bothered to reply. In the winter when I have to buy eggs I always get fr eggs and I'm sure they use more than I do! At least they sound open to change but doesn't sound hopeful for near future.
