Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi all.

 

I was looking through our Sweetie basket yesterday and found a packet of chewits.I looked on the back and they contain eggs.Does anyone know what type of eggs they are please?

Hi

You could email them and ask them but since you already have them, you might as well eat them - it would be a waste of egg / chickens 'effort' (whatever the source ) to throw them away. Find out before buying anymore.

It just goes to show how careul you haveto be if you want to avoid all caged egg.

I'd not thought about it before, but it makes sense that they have egg in as they are very much like a whipped up soft meringue. I would be interested to hear what they say, but at a guess, its not going to be FR

My Nephew came over yesterday to pick up my sisters Birthday cards so i gave them to him.

Well i e-mailed them in October & It's Now April and i still haven't had a reply.

Looks like they're using caged eggs and don't want to say

Usually if companies use free range products they like to shout about it, so obviously if they are keeping quiet it really does suggest they are using caged eggs

Do you want me to try emailing them? Obviously they're using caged eggs and they just don't want to admit it . There's no way that it would take them 6 months to reply, especially as you have sent them three emails .Maybe it's time for another campaign? It worked for New Covent Garden Food Co Quiches Maybe if we all send emails then they might get the message and at least REPLY. We all know what the answer will be but even so... .

I've tried to e-mail them 3 times today using 3 different e-mail addresses and they all failed to send

I checked my Spam folder and there was nothing from them, and I checked my Sent folder and it was there.

 

What email addresses are you all sending your emails to? I sent it to chewie@leafuk.com. Maybe we would get a quicker reply if we all sent our emails to the the Nestle email address instead on the chewits one (assuming they have one)

How totally annoying of them not to even answer. I'm off to email. I shall then go into my sent box, DAILY and re-send the same email. Chewits are off my shopping list for ever!
