We got a new puppy, warning - cute picture alert!

Recommended Posts

Look who we picked up today!!

We've called her Coco and she's a 10 week old springer cross.

She's unbelievably cute and keeps following us all around and is currently curled up on my feet :D Mille, our 3 year old labrador really isn't bothered by other dogs and is not phased by her arrival at all 8)

It's all happened so quickly, we only saw her for the first time at a local rescue on Saturday, had to take Mille over on Sunday to introduce them and then had our home check last night.

It's turning out to be quite a week - new puppy today and then collecting 3 ex-batts on Sunday :D

well done for rescuing a dog, such a worthwhile thing to do and she is just gorgeous!

Thank you Poet, both of our first two dogs were from rescue's and both of our cats are - Mille the Labrador is the only non-rescue - and I know your little Mollie came from a rescue too 8)

Oh she just looks scrumptious and very springery, wonder what she's crossed with (maybe she IS a springer, but the rescue don't know for certain?) Enjoy her, they grow up so quick (although springers don't grow up mentally until they are about 10, do they!?) Give her a huge munch from me!

We don't know what she is crossed with but she does look very springerish in the face. I'll see if we can get some more pics and then you can see how long her body is and just how ridiculously short her little legs are. She has huge paws and is very chunky, but otherwise is so dinky that she can walk right underneath Mille

She is gorgeous and scrummy which is just as well because between the two of us, OH and I were up with her all night. She cried/howled/barked constantly and even got Mille to join in with her once or twice but somehow all 4 children managed to sleep through it:roll: Was a bit of a shock because it didn't happen with Mille or our previous dog and we had both of them from 10 weeks old too. Hopefully she'll get over it once she gets used to a routine and realises that we haven't abandoned her :anxious:

By th way, thank you to whoever resized the photo, I'm a complete technonumpty but even DD who is a whizz at such things couldn't get it to work
