There was a weird programme not so long ago about scientific aberrations and food and the featherless chicken was one of the things they featured....along with glow in the dark pigs and the like. It all very well keeping them cool in hot countries....but they would have to live indoors or be fried by the sun...so its not a million miles away from being a battery hen.

They've basically engineered them to get bigger birds, distinctly goes against organic, free range improving chicken welfare etc.

It can't be healthy.

That is not on - having chookies looking like that - it's bad enough having transylvanian bare necks ( which I love ) - in this country!!!
