The Dogmother
Has anyone elses seen these imposters on ebay? Rosie would give all her teeth for a pair of those. Shame they don't do them in the right size. Oh, and these are the ones I saw a lady wearing at the weekend Ooo, and there are these... bronze
thing is are they imposter because similar things have been around for years. I do like the flower pattern
Egluntyne
I really like the floral ones too, they are ever so pretty, but the other pair Claret shows are really ugly. Has anyone pimped their Crocs yet? Who will be first?
Cate in NZ
I saw some red shoes very much in the Crocs style on sale in my local Asda over the weekend......... for £5! I wasn't tempted because they didn't look anything like as comfy, but the style is definitely becoming popular
The Dogmother
the other pair Claret shows are really ugly. Rosie and i saw a woman wearing the 'ugly' ones on Saturday when we were doing the omlet show at Sulgrave - the lady was adamant that they were Crocs
Lesley
I like the pink flowery ones - I may just have to get the paint out
The Dogmother
I think they were only about 8 quid on ebay Lesley - might be easier to buy some.
Lesley
ooh! less than the cost of the paint
PurpleHen
Has anyone tried any of the others (and be prepared to admit it!) I would love to buy some from Asda, but crocs are so comfy I'm afraid I'd be disappointed - but I really want some caymans for the summer
ali-s
I was tempted to buy some Croc lookalikes at the weekend. The are called Holeys and are dead ringers for Caymans
Cinnamon
I saw some great tie dye crocs on Ebay a couple of weeks ago
phenna_family
I have a pair of crocs, and I also bought a pair of lookalike crocs from a local clothing shop called Viter they were 6 pounds, very much like crocs, but not as comfy, am interested as to see what Asda are selling, my daughter wants a pair of crocs as she is always borrowing mine even though they are 3 sizes too big. I love crocs and wouldn't wear anything else now. Claire
chocchick
Am I the only person on the forum who doesn't get the appeal of crocs?
Lesley
...but have you tried any on CC? They may not look like your idea of fashion/cool/fun, but once you've tried them..................
chocchick
no, it's the look of them... This could be expensive
PurpleHen
Am I the only person on the forum who doesn't get the appeal of crocs? I didn't like the look of them either - but once you've worn them once, there's no turning back. Hence why you then think "heck, if I'm going to wear these things they may as well be bright pink"
Lynn
Hmmm, my crocs are completely different! Mine are thong sandals, lovely lime green and fushia! OH did this when I bought them a couple of weeks ago. BUT, they are the most comfortable things I've had on my feet for ages...even had to wear them to work for two days last week. I had been out for a walk (20 miles) and had worn a new pair of trainers boy did my feet hurt, but those crocs...saved the day

Hence why you then think "heck, if I'm going to wear these things they may as well be bright pink" I went for Purple for this very reason. (Have also got a black pair and some black Mary Janes which are fab.) Have got a bright orange blouse and I found myself thinking "a pair of orange crocs would set this off nicely!" Louise
A girl at work has the asda lookalikes and a pair of crocs and she says the crocs are much more comfy and roomy
chocchick
I feel like less of a forum deviant now . It was like having a dirty secret I couldn't share. I'm an omleteer and I don't own crocs
Louise
I was the sams sarah till the brought out the Mary Janes and then I got a pair of Caymans I think the Caymans are more comfy but they make my feet look like boats

Go for orange Egluntine - orange rocks (although Lesley wouldn't agree) I hated them too Choccy and resisted getting any for myself because they looked like boats, but I tried Rosie's on and they were so comfy that I got some for me too. As Lesley knows (she's seen me first thing in the morning), I don't care what I look like They had some lovely tie die ones on ebay yesterday, and some called Coolers, which looked the most like Crocs. myles
Can someone tell me how they're supposed to fit, because i've tried them on a few times and they feel so uncomfortable . I love the look but can't stand the feel, plus they are getting very common and find that a bit off putting. Anne
The Dogmother
If your toes are up against the front, then there shoudl be 1cm of space behing your heel at the back, at least that's what Jellyegg told me.
myles
Thanks Clare, i'll have another try. Do they feel like they're going to fly off Anne
