chicken bark

This forum has a lot to answer for...

Recommended Posts

Here was I joining a lovely friendly forum to discuss and get advice on all chicken related matters.

Little did I know from reading this forum I would end up with ducks... although at least feather related but now seem to have started getting none chicken/duck related items.

A few weeks ago I purchased a pair of Bearpaw boots (very good) and today I have ordered a Kindle.

So thanks to everyone for advice given and please don't start discussing cars, holidays, house extensions etc etc as it could get very expensive for me.

I agree - having purchased a breadmaker (well OH did) as recommended by Omleters and a doormat which was recommended as well and is wonderful except the auboise I walk in from hens sticks to it - and having cooked stuff on here 3 recipes which have been so well received and been passed on to friends - it has plenty to answer for :shameonu:

YES i agree you Omleteers really do have a lot to answer for......

...wool Duvets and pillows...fab value and i love them.

WIR and run furniture.....pure breed banties...food....recipies......Book club.....coffee machines.....the list goes on.

I will admit my life is richer in fab eggs which lead to wonderful cakes, great company and talks with the chooks and then to settle down with a good book and my coffee wrapped in my slanky waiting for bed after the latest episode of Bones and CSI..

a slow cooker

a Kenwood Chef, fab for bread making much better than breadmaker

started using Aubiose and even learnt how to pronounce it...I think

bought hens from Cotswold Chickens

spent many a happy hour on the forum instead of doing housework

read lots of great books

bought an egg clacker

and a Dualit toaster

and found some really useful information about a lot of things and plenty of friendly advice :D
