Margalot Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 I really want an ipad2......but I dont want to get sucked into Apples less stock creates more demand which I think I am slowly being dragged into I started off with wanting the cheapest at 399.00, but am now willing to take any model on offer! I'm due a Motorola Zoom tomorrow...it's come out as the top contender to the ipad 2. Don't get me wrong, I've had all the iphones & computers, but I'm a little bored of them now. I don't know how the cost compares with buying one elsewhere, but, in my experience, you won't find an iPad 2 cheaper than Apple's RRP anywhere other than eBay. I have That's why when I was dithering over the Samsung Galaxy phone, I ended up with the HTC Desire z & love it. I only use mine for browsing, email and as a Kindle- type reader and really don't need ios5, but it might be worth waiting if you know that you will use its features Margalot. I'd order from the Apple store. Someone I know ordered one recently and originally got told 6 weeks for delivery, but it arrived after a couple of weeks. It a great piece of kit, that has loads of functions that an iPad cannot do, and its half the size, so its easier to carry around. End of.
