Have taken some photos of the set up we have atm

The Go has Cilla + her pekin chicks in, the Classic has the 2 older Pekin chicks in and everyone else is in the WIR

The little fence (part of my eBay run) between the Cube run + the WIR is to keep them in the top FR area so they don't trash the rest of the garden!

They don't have their wings clipped so can hop over it but tend not to, the little pekin chicks can walk straight through the bars of it though

Had to take the WIR photos today 'cos I only cleaned it out yesterday, doesn't normally look like that!

Trying out a new bedding called CushionBed, chopped up wood a bit like easibed, which sjp recommended ... so far so good!

 

The shed is full of chickeny stuff but think they'd go mad if it had chickens in it ... kinda took over the Greenhouse, can just see to the left of the Go in 1st photo, for the broodies + the spare hutches/runs

 

One day I'll have as much space for chickens (and feeders + drinkers ) as you!

What a lovely set up. How does the cope aong side the Is it a lone I would like to have a few tame . I have plenty of wild in the river but it is not quite the same.

Gerald the duck gets on fine with the chickens - he used to have a wife, Jemima, but the fox got her last year

The Go was originally bought for them, they used to be shut up in it at night but now he never uses it and just sleeps on the floor of the the WIR ... he'd sleep outside if he could! One thing is he gets the WIR wet by throwing water from the glug everywhere, but its not too bad

The big red tub trug is his pond, we have another one on the patio by the house too

That looks great, i love the idea of the run you have put on the go! Its hard with all the babies keeping them all seperate, my growers are free ranging with the two older pekins now and are being evicted from their eglu so beryl and her babes can use it! My poor old hubbie has to make a ramp for the growers today so they can get used sleeping in the cube...

We do have a webcam!

Used to be in the Go, now in the hutch in the Greenhouse, but haven't got it set up so I can watch it in Aber

 

Have put the chicks together today and taken Cilla out so they're easier to sort while I'm not there - will be back a few times before then but they can stay in there until Christmas

Need to make up some Flubenvet feed tomorrow so they're done before I go back!
