is that the omlet walk in run that you have.

Yes, it is the Omlet WIR and it's great; it's an awful lot of money but worth it in the long-run...no pun intended!

What is the dark green border made with though?

Link-a-Bord (also purchased from Omlet).

What a fantastic set up :!: Such lucky chooks :D They will be happy there for ever. :D Alli x

:D They certainly are very spoilt! It's like an activity centre for chickens in that run!

I love that little green stool that you have in there, all the same colour as your cube. :D

Thank you :D I bought that in IKEA for £4...it's probably the cheapest thing in the run!

Cheeky chooky what are you like! I thought you were against getting a cube!! I knew you would change your mind, they are great. I love the new girls too. What better christmas present for your self/hens than that! Happy christmas and enjoy your new girls and cube.

 I was but it made sense in the end  Thanks, they are little sweeties :D I've had an absolutely rotten year, Mum had cancer, job at risk of redundancy, house move failed 4 weeks away from moving date and countless other things :( but these dear chooks of mine are really helping me through some tough times. Happy Christmas to you too :)

Ahh! so thats why you changed your mind right at the last minute yesterday, when I had reorganised a days work and people so I could pop home to meet you.

Pretty garden birds though.

How nice to be berated on a Forum! Never had that honour before, thanks Anne.

No problem, at least the 'whole saga' has cause a great deal of mirth amongst a lot of poultry pals

Have a merry Christmas.

Just caught up with this thread. Those new little uns are just adorable. Are they the 'Quail Barbu D'Anvers'? To me they look like over large sparrows but so sweet. I also see, from your signature, that you have some Pekins, where are their photos - hint, double hint

I just love all their names, by the way. Your signature is now wonderfully goofy. I'm

Thank you :) They love the branches that I found while out walking the dog  and they enjoy jumping up at the cabbages hung from the hooks on the roof of the run; they're so funny to watch too

I found a very long tree trunk at the weekend and that is now sitting on the ground, along the length of the run and they love jumping on and off...walking along it as if it were a tightrope or just sitting on it

The run was purchased from Omlet and I am absolutely over the moon with it...as are my girls :D and I love being able to go in there with them
