Now I have found out where to get weld mesh from now how/what do I cut it with?

Mr Griffin used wire cutters. Wear gloves though, it's sharp.

I would advise weighing down the free edge... if the roll pings back at you, it'll hurt!!

My dad got himself a little whizzer thing that made light work of it, I dont know what its called, but it made light work of it.

 

Just looked it up, it was a Bosch Angle Grinder. you need goggles, sends off loads of sparks but cuts through like a knife through butter.

 

I am not too good with power tools and find that my pliers did the trick, but took ages and made my hands ache!

It is definitely easier with 2 of you, it is strong stuff and more difficult than you think to handle.

I used wire cutters but does take a long time!

 

Also watch your clothes 'cos leaves holes in work tshirts!

Just ordinary wire cutters. Can cut thin stuff with my jewellery ones. I find that if you cut off the little tags from the roll you are keeping it doesn't attack you next time. Fiddly but worth saving bloodshed
