As some of you may know, I've been a bit peeved with my chickens of late for trashing my beautiful irises. I withdrew all mealworms, didn't give them their usual elevenses shortbread biscuit and cooked up their eggs for the dogs.

Now this is what someone has laid for me today

 

 

This is the tiny egg next to another of my bantam chicken eggs (so not even compared to a standard chicken egg)

 

 

Either someone was taking their revenge, or someone is too posh to push

I had one of these last week from my little Rose, I decided to make an egg sandwich with it for work .Boiled the egg and sliced it and no yolk at all.. Never lays an egg like that when you need only white

had one of those yesterday - no yolk - froze it for meringues - if I wanted yolkless ones I couldnt get them todAY a long torpedo shaped egg. The layer of these is an old lady well 3+ yrs.

Yes, I think mine are from an old gal too. I guess she felt she had a right to dig up the irises too
