Alis girls Posted May 6, 2012 Share Posted May 6, 2012 Two become 4. Got a Whitwell Black and a Sussex names Sharona and Edwina respectively. OH and 1 took YS to Herts and had a good look round. OH said "have 2 if you want" - is he mad cos I want. Jez and Maggie are not happy - separated by mesh and canes. Jez was lowest in pecking order when her other Omlet buddies were alive - now shes bully girl. The newies have small combs so no eggs for a while can admire them instead. Alis girls Posted May 7, 2012 Author Share Posted May 7, 2012 I shut them in last night so the neighbours didnt get the sound of them clucking obsenities at each other they continue to eyeball each other and Jez is incandesent with rage. The water pistol is ready for when they get together properly. Edwina and Sharona dont mind a quick stroke and take corn from the hand. I forgot how exciting new girls are. My first 3 I got 2 yrs ago last month and I was a mass of anxiety. two yrs on - I know more and feel more confident, and have accepted that they are fragile creatures.
