ali-s
OH starts a new job tomorrow , dress code is smart trousers, shirt and tie. OH lives in combats and T shirts or casual shirts. He has one suit which he bought 18 years ago OH is having a middle age temper tantrum because he (we ) need to get him kitted out for tomorrow OH doesn't want to go shopping So how do I get him to go? Can I get away with telling him they now sell power tools in M&S, Next and Debenhams? I could slap his legs, I really could

chelsea
I know you havent got time now, but I would have ordered it all online. Also - we went to Sainsbury's yesterday to buy my hubby a suit....yes they sell suits in sainsburys . We have a wedding in August and hubby doesnt own a suit, so we thought rather than pay a small fortune for an outfit he is never going to wear again we bought suit jacket, trousers, x2 shirts and tie for the amazing price of £70 !!! Why not go there and you'll get everything you need in one place (they even have fitting rooms) and it will be at a bargain price! Asda are also good for stuff like that. ali-s
Well I managed to get him to Tescos He got a pair of trousers (no more in his size) and 2 shirts He chose a pink shirt and a lavender shirt I chose 3 more shirts and the ties, I paid He only found out about the job on Friday, so no time to order online. And I didn't slap his legs Wish I had thought about him going in naked, it would have saved me some money
Jules.
OH is the one in our house who likes clothes- we have to house & clothe 2 children, 3 cats & 2 chooks now, so he can't indulge any more. I love clothes from NEXT
Egluntyne
Him Indoors has to be dragged kicking and screaming to buy new clothes. He also hates change so I often say nothing and just replace worn items with identical garments. It is a bit of a nuisance when things are discontinued though. I once let him believe that he had had a pink shirt from Debenhams for 8 years. I replaced it 4 times. He thought it was the same one. It reminded me of Triggers Broom (Only Fools and Horses). Same one for 25 years or so. 6 new heads and 4 new handles but it is the same broom.
One Man Banned
I love clothes from NEXT Me too! and we're having a Next built in at our shopping centre 5 mins walk away Still, saves a trip to Gloucester, Cheltenham or Cribbs doesn't it (but Joe's threatened to take my bank cards from me when it opens  A xx
Cinnamon
Brian refuses to clothes shop at all. I have to buy whatever he needs, bring it home for him to approve of or not & return it if its no good. I don't mind really, as my taste is so vastly superior to his anyway A lot of his clothes are from Tesco, & all of his "shorts & T-shirt" work clothes are

Richard
I have to wear a suit to work - and my wife buys them for me from M&S online. Its easy peasey - you can buy a jacket and two sets of trousers for not much over £100, and you don't even have to go near a shop! And it gets delivered to your door - no traipsing round looking at stuff and having to try it on. No shops and people fussing around asking if you need any help, and have you seen this or that. No choices to make about what colour, what pattern etc. - you don't even have to see it until it arrives. She picks it, orders it - all you have to do is pay for it. Magic. The ultimate shopping experience. Fantastic - way to go.

Couperman
Why is it that only the ladies changing rooms are staffed with anti theft numbties! even in Matalan!! is it only you ladies wot nick stuff like. Last time i was in the Matalan place was to buy some disposable shoes for a wedding I think. I bought three pairs of shoes size 9,9.5 and 10 (didn't have time to try them on), and a load of t-shirts etc, it cost about fourty quid! and there was a shoplifter caught as I was leaving she was clearly embarrased having gotten caught shoplifting at Matalan. I pointed out to her it was cheaper to buy the stuff and pretend she nicked it from Next if she needed the street cred. It was at that point she realised she had left her baby in town outside Next! the things you forget when chased by officer Dibble. Don't you just love chavs Kev.
