I was just enjoying the sunshine in my garden whilst getting some work done.

Meant to be having cold weather (have been told by a freind that heavy snow is forcast for our area end of Feb (this is based on her dad working at a large airport and they have ordered extra grit) hope that this is wrong .

 

Anyway we have lovely sunshine its warm enough to fling my doors and windows open and as a treat for my girls I have made a temp run in our front garden so they can benefit from the grass bark chippings which are at prsent being joyfully flung by all 7 onto the lawn and of course the sunshine hope this lasts and its not Mother Nature teasing us

It was -2deg here this morning, thick fog and frost, but it's lovely and sunny now.

We've had glorious days since Saturday. I'm in shock Off to play golf this pm and sunnies will be needed

Sun is shining here in N Ireland girls are very keen to be out of run and cluck crossly when I go out to bin.Just realised yesterday after having them out all morning their run is in shade in pm so keeping them in run am and out to chase the sun in pm Do you think a docile aged Labrador is enough deterrent to keep Mr Fox out as other 2 dogs chase the chickens?

Another lovely day yesterday- was sat out with the chooks in the sunshine at 5pm doing a bit of knitting!

 

Frosty start this morning though but it quickly warmed up- 13 degrees now

Much colder from tomorrow apparently and the chilly weather is coming to the south first. Don't mind that too much so long as it stays dry.

Naaah, a mild 2deg here, overcast and drizzly... yuk!

It was warmer first thing today than yesterday but overcast and has only gone up to 5 degrees and feels much colder because of cold wind. Sun promised from 3pm, but then cold overcast and possible snow from tonight until into next week

I had to take my jacket off yesterday when playing golf as it was so warm. It's been baltic all day today due to the wind

0.8deg this morning and a very icy wind. The papers say we're due an icy blast for 4 days

I had thick gloves on walking the 5 mins to work and my hands are frozen... the heating had come on at home, so the internal temp must have gone below 17deg.

1 degree C here at the moment, but feels like minus 10 with the wind. Had a brief snow flurry this am, forecast more tonight
