Door too small for Jersey Giant?

I invited my Mum and Dad for dinner yesterday, and later in the afternoon OH said to my Dad "did he fancy a little job"

So they set to in the garden and chopped the Rowan tree trunk in half longways (saved from making the new run area), sawed up some rungs, and made my girls a lovely ladder and a platform to sit on.

 

 

 

Now I just need to wait for them to climb it

That looks good.. If it is like our house ,We have a wonky toilet seat that needs replacing ,a kitchen that is in urgent need of a face lift , a car that could do with a clean But from going from a half hearted "I think there is room for a chicken run under the pear tree " my OH needs to know what needs to be done next to keep the chickens safe and make their lives happier .
