I'm on a second one now - I loved the first one too much!

 

It is 6 x 4 inches - and protecting in an envelope is probably a good idea, I don't think mine would fare well without one .

Finally started, but not going too well, so far, I can see a bit of a busy weekend ahead.

I have nearly finished a large (nearly single bed cover) crochet blanket for DD though...

and packed 100's of skelters this week.

I've done one, but am not wildly happy with it, so reckon the thinking will start again, as soon as DD and myself have finished painting ... sheds, and summerhouse, and rather a lot of fencing.... One day , soon, I may hit a canvas with some watercolour!!

I finished mine, then inspiration struck - unfortunately I didn't have time to do another. So it will be in the post tomorrow I hope.

 

I've really enjoyed this challenge so thanks to whoever first suggested it. I hope we will do another one next year, maybe a seaside theme, and I may even volunteer to organise I'm hoping next year will be less hectic than this .

I think perhaps we all try too hard because it's the first time we've done a postcard. We'll be more chilled next time

Mine is done, it is smaller than a postcard, but that is because the kiln is new to me and I am still learning how to use it properly. I am going to post it on Monday, hope you like it!

No not ceramics, I am dabbling with glass fusing, this project gave me a chance to practice, as I have bought a kiln to use with the children at school. Although I will have to get them another one as I am keeping this one, I have a feeling it could be as addictive as chicken collection too!

I went on my sewing machine to do mine, but working on something quite small was a challenge. So I s"Ooops, word censored!"ped the idea & went & did what I am best at! Shhhh!

Mine will be posted tomorrow & will hopefully arrive Wednesday / Thursday.

It was a new technique to me, fiddly, but I liked doing it & will be using it on my Xmas cards this year I think.

Mines sat on the hall table ( post table) all ready to go & be posted at my village shop tomorrow ( Tuesday). All postcards will be loved I assure you. If it's been made - then it's a special thing. Time & thought has gone into it & it is for that reason it will be very well appreciated.
