I've read the book, which I thoroughly recommend. I bought it for my grandson, but read it and kept it for myself. I've been in touch with the author to encourage him to produce a Kindle version.

We've driven round the roundabout while visiting family down there. We'll be down that way again this summer - I've voted .

Yay Glad it's not just me that remembers them! We are moving there in a couple of months so hopefully (when the parish council see sense) will be able to see the chicken statues every day!

Just to clarify, we are not moving to Chicken Roundabout, we are moving to Ditchingham Although there's an idea...we could camp on the roundabout while our house is being renovated. Just call me Swampy

They seem to be saying saftey is the issues ??? well perhaps they ought to talk to somerset council as we have a roundabout in Shepton Mallet that has sheep staues on it and it has a song written about it too
