I have made three so far but none are the correct size one is slightly too big and the other two are slighlty small. I don't think I can get them dead on I hope close will be good enough.

I've got 4 for you & will possibly have another 1 or 2 after tonight. I'll post them tomorrow to you. This has inspired me to want to make one for my dads recovery, when he is eventually allowed home from hospital in approx 6 weeks.

I managed to get mine to 5 inches, by missing off a couple of rounds of each pattern.

SOme of mine are a bit erm bright in the said colours, but I like them that way.

We don't have a post office but the village where I work has one once a week on a Monday I can post mine then after school, I didn't manage to get them finished for this week, would that be ok if not I can try to go into town on Saturday.

I shall probably make some more & some embellishments by Monday to send. Crochet is my thing, so I've been loving this. It's helped to take my mind off my poor dad - so thank you so much Freddie!

I've done ones where you start in the middle, and expand out to the 5", but Emma did a straight across row, and went up, so she had to get her 5" from the first line of cast on!

I am almost ready to post them too you. Do you want me to tidy up the threads at the start and ends or shall I leave them so you know which is right side, just on case it isn't obvious?

Don't worry about the ends, I'll sort them as I go.

I was going to stitch in the ends should I leave them hanging?

 

I am very worried that mine are not good enough I haven't done crocheting for years and I think I was a teenager when I last did squares. Dare I send them

Of course, you can't make it too easy for Freddie or she won't feel she's achieved anything. I bet they'll be lovely once sewn with others, it brings them into shape
