Snowy
Well I was going stir crazy today, OH was off work and keeping the kids entertained, oldest son hogging the computer and I refuse to spend all day doing housework. So I dug out my old sewing machine and got busy. Several hours later: My first attempt at a bag out of s"Ooops, word censored!" material: Second attempt came out a bit better: And I had some blue material left so made a third one the same as the first! I feel much better now (but the house is still a tip )

craftyhunnypie
They are brilliant! You've given me some inspiration for later on when I get back from Garden Poultry, done the housework etc. I'll dig out my sewing machine and make up one of those carrier bag holder thingys. I might even applique a chicken on it! I've also got a brother embroidery machine & it's fab. But I need a computer card for it with chicken designs on!!!! he he I love the second bag - it's very shabby chic! Gorgeous! Well done you! Tina C
They are great. How long did they take? You could set yourself up in business making them from people's own fabric (from dresses their little girls have grown out of etc)
Cinnamon
Snowy, I would certainly order a couple if you were taking orders Let me know & I will start hunting out remnants You could sell those on Ebay for a fair price too (I see a cottage industry here!) The Dogmother
They are gorgeous Snowy I'd far rather be sitting at my sewing machine than tackling the pile of ironing that I'm about to start
