AJuff
Just a half hour train ride home and my Easter holidays start! Yay! Really looking forward to stopping. I've planned a few days south at Harry Potter studio and visiting family. Rest of the hols I thought I'd finally build a hive stand for me bees, finish a homemade pony cushion for DD and build a permanent base for school eglu as I'm sick of wading through mud! What plans have others made?
Olly
Well I've only got the four days over this weekend - I always try to keep the Easter weekend free to get a good start with the garden, but I don't think that will be happening this year. Lunch with my sister on Sunday, and I'm hoping to finish a few UFOs and do some filing - doesn't sound very exciting but it's so lovely to have a whole four days to potter in. patsylabrador
Have a great Easter Hols. Not got much planned here because OH is working. 31st wedding anniversary on Wednesday so have day out on m'bike planned depending on weather. The secondary age kids finished school for hols here today at lunch time and the fair is in town so hordes of teens were thundering excitedly up the road to the fair. I kind of envied them, it was nice.

craftyhunnypie
Yesterday I made some vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream (piped), mini eggs & fluffy chicks. I got the washing done too. I crocheted some bunting & made 2 owls for the retro caravan. I re vamped a lamp I bought for £1.50 too. Stuck ribbon & pom pom trimming on it. It looks much better! I also set some eggs in the incy.... 6 black silkie & 4 frizzle pekin x bantam Ancona - trying to create my own frizzle breed. I was tempted to totally fill the incy, but thought 10 was a manageable number for the time being, if all managed to be fertile & hatch.& now I feel a bit naffed off. I suppose I will lose myself in crafts again, go for a long walk , do more to the retro van (painting) & generally kind of forget I have a hubby. As he seems to have forgotten that he has a wifey. He is far too busy in his new shed doing man stuff with the neighbour! Boys & their toys! HOw long can they find to talk about screws, nails, nuts & bolts? They both like gutsing my cakes though! I guess it will be the same most of the weekend - just me, my cat, my chooks & my beautiful piggies! Emma.x
chuckmum6
We have three weeks off, week 1 will be spent decorating YS's bedroom, OH is helping this time so should be easier! Beyond that we will be catching up with a few friends with the odd day out. I'm planning some times of doing nothing much, along with some prep for school, it will no doubt fly by. craftyhunnypie
Bacon butties, bit of a pyjama morning. More painting of retro caravan & soft furnishing making. First year in history that I've not had an Easter egg breakfast. Will tuck in after lunch! I have opened my Easter swap prezzie. Wow! That has truly put a smile on my face!
