Couperwife
Afternoon people Ive had a thought Anyone fancy doing a surprise knit or crochet a long scarf ? So, my idea is that each week, month or whatever we decide on someone supplies a pattern that we all follow for a set number of rows. You decide on yarn type, colour, etc. We all agree on how many stitches and follow the pattern from there. If we do this quick ish, we could have a scarf for Christmas (there...I said the c word!) What does anyone think? Does this actually make sense? Cathy X

Couperwife
You could learn? I think this could be easy or as difficult as you want to make it. Cathy X
Cat tails
Haha, have been telling myself that for ages! I taught myself crochetting, so could probably also knit, but I like crochetting too much, I think. I'll keep an eye on this project though and maybe jump in, when I have some time. Plum
It sounds a fun way of trying out new stitches or techniques and using up odd balls, I'm game I need something for in front of the tele.
craftyhunnypie
I'd like this too, as long as it's knit on 2 needles, no double pointed needles or cables!!!! Yikes! Oh & if there were any weird stiches other than knit, purl, increase (kfb), yarn over, skpsso - they would have to be well explained instructions. Not too many rows of pattern repeats & I easily forget which row I'm on. Crochet is no problem to me - know all the stitches there. This would be lovely. Perhaps you could try the arm knitting that I'm having a go at later!!! He he. Emma.x
