I bought a 20kg bale of Auboise for a couple of weeks before the run was ready, then found it only covered one half so we bought 2 more bales of Equinola Bedwell from Scats, for the other half. They both seem good products but when it comes time for a good clean out, I'm going to cover the run with sharp sand. We have a jumbo bag left over from preparing the run base, and quite a few people have said they find it really good, so I thought we should give it a try and just use the Equinola for the nest box and in the chickens kennel.
