smudgley
Blimey - I sold 4 light sussex bantam cockerals yesterday at a sale in Penkridge. It would be funny if he was one of mine. It's only a few miles from Telford.

fairy&cake
hey! Its the morning after the night before, and so i thought i would tell you what happened, times , desebells etc. As you may see its 6.36AM . he crowed at dead on 6. i lay in bed having a giggling fit. I LOVE HIM. oh and the lady that said to get a long crower, there was about 50 MASSIVE rhode ISland Reds that were going to be killed COCK's . Ive never seen such beautiful birds in my life. We would have had one but they crowed ALLLLLLL day and very very VERY loud indeed. Ive covered the chicken house, [its a HUGE wooden one- im too poor for an Omlet.] in Black out lining. that we can roll back in the day,. i was expecting him to be crowing at 4am. so im pleased he waited for 6am. And he didnt even wake my 8 month old up!!!! And there right outside his window, so im equally impressed with that. I will post a report tomorrow. HAHAHA. lets hope not as early. Love Laura, seth, Fairy and cake and the carl the cock and the bantam,s

Christian
Oh Laura! That is so you!!! What a kind thing to do. I hope he is a quiet cockeral! Well done for giving him a home, he sounds a real character The best news is that, if you want to introduce more girls, he will sort out the pecking order All the best with him! fairy&cake
Ive had the most AWFUL day today..... Basically i have 2 big chooks , ive had them for ages. 3 bantam girls and 1 cockeral anyway the runt of the bantams got bullied so much in the night she was bleeding reallllly bad, i had to walk 3 miles to the vets, 3 miles back , then at 3 she got worse, i walked it again, I am exhausted. Then the cockeral tried to attack my 9 month old in his pram. Luckily nothing happened. the runt bantam is lovely. But the other two are horrrid. I am reallllllly upset.. Im thinking i am going to have to rehome the 2 naughty bantams and possibly the rooster. As its unsafe for my little boy. The runt [ they havent all been named yet] but im thinking of calling her Beauty , ] i am going to keep no matter what. To make things worse i am on my own until Monday, as my man is at the V Festival. :( Oh and then i started panicing about them sleeping in the same house, so i ended up buying a bloooming massive rabbit hutch and putting the poorly one in there, as i was worried shed die. I had to pay for the bloke to deliver it, and its all been a stressful day! I hope she maks it through the night. OH AND THE HEN HOUSE NOW IS COVERED IN BLACK OUT LINING FROM DUNELM. LUCKY I HAVE LOADS OF IT! LETS SEE IF HE DOESNT DOODLE DOO.L XXXXXXXXXXX

fairy&cake
Beauty made it through the night. ive also decided to call the cockeral BEAST, haaha I hope shes ok. I saw something that a member called Richard has mention, and ive been feeding them all raisins. I am going to give the two bullies to a person i know, as she really wants them. Do you think that 2 large chickens my old two Beauty the runt and beast the cockeral would live happy?
