I have lived in Crocs for the past 5 years (as many here will testify), & have just about got away with wearing them at work, but have recently been caught out, & have had to buy some grown-up shoes.

 

Hotter have just opened in Reading, & their shoes are just the most wonderfully comfortable things ever.

I reckon I have molly coddled my feet with Crocs to the point where the skin on my heels is now super soft having had nothing on them for all this time. Anything I tried on was really uncomfortable, but Hotter shoes seem to be fine

 

I went in today for a pair of insoles & came out with 2 more pairs

Had never heard of them,their website looks good. Just goggled and there is a store in Belfast.I feel a shopping trip coming on

They're one of the few brands I can wear, having wide feet and needing orthotic insoles. The other brand I like is Ecco.

 

I think I got my first pair of Hotters from TK Maxx - if you have one you visit regularly it's always worth a truffle through the shoe racks!

I dont wear crocs myself but my grandson loves them, love the new shoe site, sandals are really lovely, thing I might accidently pop some into my basket.

Hotter are very comfortable , good for standing up in all day.

I love them too. I bought a pair to wear to the wedding last year and I have never worn a more comfortable pair of heels We have a store here and they are really helpful. After I bought them in store, however, I had an email from them which said if I orderd them online I would get £20 off! So I emailed them saying how I wished I had bought them online, and they sent me a cheque for £20

They are just near to Boots on Broad Street....easy enough to find. The staff are very patient & lovely too, which makes a nice change (I am talking to you, Clarkes!)

I have one pair and I love them, another good source of comfortable shoes is Pavers, they are online on TV and have stores too. My husband has had their own brand and loved them and I have bought their own and flyflot sandals which are like slippers. Comfortable shoes are a total must for me and a holy grail at times.

I was just going to suggest Pavers! I saw two lovely pairs of Pavers clogs in a charity shop today, they were too big, unfortunately

I think some of those may appear on the Simply Be website. If so they do wider fittings so that's good. I love the floral lace up deck shoes.

The others are the Lulu shoe in black, for work. They are lovely & supple, & feel really bouncy when you walk in them.
