Lewis
Good luck! I think working in a uni would be great, always varied and as students want to be there they tend to get on with the staff really well. Hope you get an interview!
Ain't Nobody Here
Thanks, Lewis, fingers crossed . That's my feeling exactly!
Ain't Nobody Here
Met the agency woman today and that went OK but she then emailed me the full job description. Sadly, I really don't have enough up-to-date administrative/secretarial experience to handle some of the key duties. Creating databases in Microsoft Access is one - I have been doing online tutorials because the Uni vacancy needs some knowledge of it but am not at all confident creating databases for real . Not that I've even got an interview yet, but my worry now is how the Uni job would fit in with Riley, being 2 full days plus a 1/2 day . sparkysmum
Hi could you get a walker for Riley? If he's anything like old Sparx was he probably wont be desperate for a walk as such but would appreciate the company. Will you go back to your school job on Monday/Tuesday ? Whilst these are exciting times they are anxious times too. Good luck Ax
Ain't Nobody Here
He really only needs letting out for a wee, tbh, as he gets a walkie first thing and I take him out when I get back. It would be more of a worry if we got another dog in the future. I've found another job to apply for at the RSPB . Yes, back to work Monday. Don't even know what job I'll be doing . Ain't Nobody Here
I'm even more desperate for a new job now . My role in the school this year is so boring that I honestly can't stand it. I've only done 3 days but spent quite a lot of time on the verge of tears . I've told management how I feel but was told basically, that's my role so get used to it . They've said they'll look into it but they won't. On a positive note though, I've applied for another job with the Scottish Rural College .
