Louise
Someone has ventured out to go to the canteen and I can confirm we have perfect 'snowman making' snow so it could be a little team building exercise later in the day Who said civil servants were dull
The Dogmother
Have fun Louise and make one for me! It's cold as b*****y here this morning, but the perfact blue sky is clouding up rapidly, so I am expecting snow today. Enjoy it and have fun. Cate in NZ
Daughter tells me, in very confident tones that we're expecting a blizzard tonight at 10pm precisely. She's excited, I'm off to layer old carpet on the eglus , & i'm crossing fingers & toes that she's got it wrong
Louise
Its Saturday tomorrow Kate you could be rid of children for a while if there is snow outside to play in
Cate in NZ
Oh, she's got plans Louise trust me Problem is I'd had romantic ideas of family walks & games in the snow, silly me, she's meeting her mates if there's any snow. We've actually had a few flakes now, but fortunately of the blink and you've missed them variety so far. It's still bitterly cold though , and I'm supposedly in the mildre South east- if it's like this down here I don't want to imagine what it's like up there with you guys in Scotland & the North. Keep warm all of you, and stay safe in this weather

YIPPEE Then because I am bored at the mo, checked several other places at random. Guess what all had a 60% chance of snow at Christmas. Every one might get snow at Christmas, or then again they might not.
clare*
I've just taken Ben to Badminton. It was not nice having to drive in the snow. I hope it slows down before I have to go back and get him I passed loads of kids making snowballs - not very big ones mind
ali-s
No snow here Thursday afternoon it snowed for about 20 minutes, but had gone after a couple of hours. Too blumming cold for snow. Its freezing and very windy. I hate wind. I love snow, especially if I am at home, safe and snug.
