Guest
It's freezing and damp here - I had to put the heating on this morning, and the flippin' extractor fan in the bathroom won't switch off because of the dampness in the air.
Charlottechicken
Brass monkey weather here too I have put the central heating on low this evening, and it has really made a difference! It is bitterly cold at work so sitting at a desk all day is no fun, I was caught jogging on the spot next to the fax machine today I keep browsing through winter clothing online too
Egluntyne
I've lit the gas fire. Its just too chilly, and with my sore back.......
chelsea
we are going away in the caravan thursday. they forecast sun sun sun and temperatures of up tp 24 degrees in the south/west until at least sunday here.
kannie
Normally I hate autumn when I have to get out the socks and warm slippers again. This year they never really went away! I've only put a skirt on once all summer, and I haven't even hung my dresses up! Only good thing is that I've hardly had to bother with the waxing: just a couple of times in optimism! Lesley
After a vile damp and windy day here yesterday, it is a beautiful day today - and is supposed to be good over the weekend I did manage to wash and line dry all Jazz's bedding yesterday (don't ask ) We're taking a day off today, we're wandering down towards Stow in the Wold, stopping off at all the places we usually whizz past

Cate in NZ
Ooooh, it souds like the better weather is finally coming That said it's grey, drizzly and really quite chilly here today, perhaps my little corner of Kent is going to be the last to get the fine weather . The forecast sounds ok-ish for the next few days though, improving a little tomorrow and warm, dry and sunny from friday onwards . I hope that for once the forecasters are right. The Dogmother
It's certainly a lot better here this pm - not nearly so cold or windy. I hope it's going to be nice on the east coast this weekend - we're heading off to Norfolk on Sunday.
ubereglu
It's Eglu cleaning & hammock weather here today Well I can stretch to the eglu cleaning, but not the hammock!!! I cleaned out the eglu and got my feet wet-through the crocs, then I squeaked around the garden!!! They only squeak when they're wet!!! Looney
It has absolutely chucked it down here today and it is extremely windy as well
The Dogmother
Well, the wind has swung back round today, so we can smell manure rather than roasting coffeee... Mmmmm It's much warmer now In Banbury, you can always tell which way the wind is blowing by the smell; if the wind is in the north, you literally 'wake up and smell the coffee' as Kraft has Europe's biggest (sure UKButton will correct me here) coffee processing plant in the north of the town. Jules.
Sunny & very warm here, I have washed my quilted bedspread & it drying wonderfully on the line No hammock allowed now, we have wasps in one of the trees we use to hang it from and the way my boys push each other in it to swing the tree will vibrate like the clappers & disturb the wasps.
