Solitary chicken - need advice

Hi, I have been a member for this forum for over 10 years and have dipped in and out of it. I have also for the past 10 years been getting inspirations for a walk in run for our hens by reading and looking at peoples posts. At last we have done it!

Here is our old set up with omlet netting:

and now the new set up for the girls:

Sorry to sound like a bit of a party pooper but, if you are intending it to be fox proof you might be a bit disappointed. Foxes can get through chicken wire like that with no problems. I would replace with galvanised steel mesh to be sure.

I think your walk in run is about the same size as my WHOLE garden!
