OH whos 61 and me 55 wear size 9 and 8 shoes. We act our shoe size. We definitely fool around much to the horror of our youngest 15 who has a sense of humour bypass regularly. This morning our bed head arrived early and was encased in polystyrene. We had great fun pretending to karate chop it like it was bits of wood. YS rolled his eyes crossly.

My husband does voices for the cats.At present Honey cat has a French tarts accent and says "Bonne nuit Oncle Luke" to my son whose doing GCSE French at the moment. She also waves a paw

The other cat sounds like an East End vilian. So are we alone in being loonies? I suspect not

Not at all. Scruffy my schnauzer has a Yorkshire accent and is very vociferous when going to the groomers

59 and it swings between Victor Meldrew and a 9 year old at the moment. At the moment I'm Hattie Jacques in don't mess with me matron mode - directed at OH naturally.

Yes I regularly go like that Valkyrie. I am Hattie Jacques at work with the patients although slightly slimmer I am please to say. I love being silly. Not sure what I will be like at 70

Me (and my family) - shoe size, OH (and his family) - age. Can be awkward sometimes

Shoe size, which is a little awkward because I only have size 4 feet!

I am 50 in just under 2 weeks and life is too short to be serious and melancholic.

We are a very banterous silly family group especially now that our children are all adults.

I can act my age when I need to, just doesn't happen very often

Age 52, shoe size 7 (but continental 41!) Mostly all of the time I act my age and older as I am very stressed by many, many aspects of everyday life (Aspergers ) but there are odd occasions when I wish I didn't have to.

 

I saw a toddler throwing the most amazing, awe inspiring paddy in the supermarket the other day and felt very jealous. I just wanted to be able to do that and let it all out! Her mum was brilliant and was just standing close by, not really watching but keeping an eye out and letting her get on with it, which I thought was a great way to handle it - so calm. Toddler soon got tired and gave up after a truly brilliant performance.
