AMO Posted September 9, 2007 Share Posted September 9, 2007 After living back in the village for 5 years I decided to enter this years Horticultural Show - it was only 15p entry fee per class so I pushed the boat out and entered 3. My five tomatoes were not placed : My container of cut herbs was marked - highly commended! My container of cut flowers - one type - came second!!! I didn't know it was on either - and it's only up the road We used to have a show in a local village but that stopped a couple of years ago - looks like all the gardeners have moved over there. I'd been entering classes in that one since I was little - my Granddad used to show all his fruit and veg. and I entered all the childrens classes.
