SueSteve
Thanks everyone They arrived spot on 8.30. We have spent most of the morning watching them!! Dh took loads of pics and I have put them in an album called Kimberland Chickens. Not sure how to add the link to it. We have named them Jet, she is jet black; Meg was going to be a gingernut, but the name seemed to suit the with a ginger necklace (there must be a technical word for this!!) The ginger gnut is arabella and the gnut with white bits is Tilly. Not sure how we arrived at the names, they are not at all what we had planned!! SueSteve
They appear to be settling down a bit now. When the children came home form school they were so excited and the chickens huddled a bit at the back. Now they just carry on with what they are doing and are not bothered. I have already noticed that the 2 are more timid than the gn, they tend to hide in teh cube. And Jet is clumsy, she keeps falling out of the cube doorway and sliding down the ladder. Hen Watch
Congratulations on your new arrivals. My Pepperpot was more timid than the extremely nosey Gingernuts initially. She's not timid any more but the Gingernuts are speedy runners and get from 1 side of the garden to the other in a flash with the others bringing up the rear. Lovely pics. Krysia
Our Pepperpot is and always has been the top chook in the pecking order. (Apart from the brief period when we had a cockeral)
