Cat tails
I discovered yesterday that I’m literally 4 streets outside a regulation zone in which you are prohibited to move any poultry. I don’t regularly go that way, but it has been there since the beginning of December apparently. There was an outbreak found about 15 km away.

Lewis
You can keep an eye on the APHA website for details. We're still in a Prevention Zone until further notice, hopefully just a few more weeks!
Peter
Thank you for your reply. I will just continue to keep them in. I am the only one doing so in my village in Northumberland. Peter

It’s the same as human COVID lockdown though in my opinion - just because other people may be breaking the rules, we should still stick to them to protect ourselves (or in terms of AI our flocks) and others. Cat tails
For those thinking Avian Influenza is a thing of the winter: an outbreak has been confirmed in the Netherlands again at a non-commercial holder who is keeping all kinds of different birds. All 54 birds will be culled. Commercial poultry farms still need to keep birds under cover.
