Helly Welly Posted October 8, 2007 Share Posted October 8, 2007 STAR ROAST POPCORN HENRIETTA Got these beautiful girls from Merrydale on Saturday, where i also met Snowy and her delightful boys! I have put up an eglu run inside the walk-in run so that the girls can all get used to each other. They all go in the cube at night. Both Popcorn and Henrietta, the two crested chooks, are quite timid. Roast, named by Abi seems quite friendly and Star, the pure white chook with an exceedingly floppy comb, is vying to be boss. She laid her first egg on Sunday, a tiny little thing but very welcome nonetheless. We had to get more chooks as we can't keep up with demand for our eggs.
