ali-s
Woke up this morning to a gleaming whiteness..... then the blizzards started again horizontal and coming from the artic, not much land between here and the artic. That is why I don't like snow up here The chickens were not amused and wouldn't come out of the Eglu for ages. Daughter was not amused because her school didn't close My car journey to work normally takes 10 minutes, today it took 45 minutes due to snow making visability down to about 5 feet, and do you know how much snow has actually settled...... about an inch More snow forecast here tonight and tomorrow with lower temperatures than today

ali-s
Send some down to us southern softies please - preferably before 6am tomorrow so I dont have to go to work Its not that bad would love to use "I can't get into work excuse", however one of my bosses lives in the same Village So I had to slip, slide, skid my way to work this morning I hate driving in snow. I tend to concentrate on the flakes hitting the windscreen I forget to blink and my eyes dry up. I also grit my teeth.... must look quite a scary sight. Also I always start humming or singing the Snowman song, the one Aled whatisface sang
