Only just found this thread :roll:

Well done Thalia :D Hats off to you. I am soooo impressed with what you have managed. A true inspiration

I finally got off my backside and joined slimming world for the first time three weeks ago. Have lost each week and I do not feel that I am on a diet. I never feel hungry either :D

I have my eyes on a lovely Paul Smith shirt when I am at the desired weight :D

Good luck

Well Done Thalia

You really have come such a long way with the LL programme and you look great! - After you have come this far you should have no problems in going through the management phase - Good Luck!

I only wish that were the case. The strictness of staying on foodpacks has suited me, practicing judgement and moderation...

Keeping a stable weight is something so many take for granted yet is a skill that many can't grasp :( I think I'll be ok for most of the time though but I'm sure I'll have my moments

But you'll learn to do that through the management and as you've been on the sachets for 100 days then you know you have the strength to do it

We're still all rooting for you - and I forgot to say last message that your friend has done a good job on the hair!

Jusst popping in to remind you if you suffer from SASD you are more likely to comfort eat as the days shorten so you can use light therapy to help. Needs to start in september for optimum benefit. See my thread on be nice today!

My mum does that and it has worked wonders. She hired one at first and then bought one once she realised it wasn't a load of old tosh and did actually work 8)

I lost another 6lbs at the last weigh in which makes for a 2 week average of 2.5lbs which is more than fine by me at this stage. I suspect that not this week next week will be D Day where I start to slowly introduce conventional food again and I am really looking forward to it although I know it will be the hardest stage of all for me after the rest of my life of course

I'm really looking forward to the Jimmy's Farm meeting in December and can'r wait to meet some of the omleteers. I've never made it to an omlet meet yet so I'm really excited :D

Great news, at last nights weigh in I finally snuck into in the normal range for my BMI just in time for my daughter starting school today.

I weighed in at 11st 4lbs making me 24.8 BMI for my height and I have just 1 more lb to go to have lost 5 stone

I do want to lose a bit more so that I am well within the limits and can put on 4 lbs or so when learning to eat without beating myself up over eat as I eat when I feel depressed

Then after allowing for that I want to keep a further 4lb buffer zone around my ideal weight so that I can fluctuate within that range without going into panic mode.

On the advice of my practice nurse and my LighterLife counsellor, when I get to the point where I am happy with my weight I will then lose another 7lbs ready for starting the management stage :D

I'm not far off being happy with my body now after allowing for the additional wonders that exercise can make.

Then begins the hard bit, 12 weeks of reintroducing foods in a set order including in later weeks potential trigger foods and charting the results in both weight and attitude so I can deal with real life again

Well done you!!! You should be so proud of yourself :D I am determined to lose 2 stone by Christmas. I am not going to "diet" as such, but am cutting out the naughties (and cutting down on the alcohol which make the naughties so tempting) and trying to exercise more - again - no proper stuff just things like parking at the other end of the car park at the office / supermarket etc. walking up the stairs at work and so on.

Hopefully I will do it - but you have certainly been a big inspiration to me Thalia :D
