chocolatedog
I once remember hubby telling me that he had to get up at 4 in the morning to start a long journey, and he heard the supermarket alarm going off, so he looked out of the window and saw 2 guys running up the alley and across the road and down the lane bby our house, so he rang the police and was able to give them a running commentary (from the back of the house as the guys got into a car and drove round the back road and up the main street....so the police put up a roadblock in the next village along and caught them........ (I was away at the time and missed all the excitement!!!)

Egluntyne
You have my sympathy I'm a chronic insomniac too- You are looking a bit rough in your avatar, Honey. Try one of those lavendar pillows.
Sheilaz
Sheila and Lesley are the resident insomniacs. I once joined Sheila online while I was waiting for the police to come round in the small hours I nearly didn't see this topic, I thought it was about what time the hens get up! I'm not actually an insomniac, I'm very lucky that I drop off immediately and rarely lie awake, although I do have some idea from the past how terrible that feeling is. However, some of my best friends are insomniacs. No, I just love the peace & quiet very early & very late, and have been known to post at 2.30 or 5am. The Dogmother
I've been up since 6am (as usual), I'd usually take it easier on a weekend, but I've got my first chicken keeping course today and I want to be prepared.

The Dogmother
Just a little, more concerned with tidying up and getting rid of the fence panel that's languishing down the garden (in the way!) Just about to get wellied up and go and smash it... that'll wake the neighbours up!
