Mrs Frugal
Oh that's sad Laura. I broke one of my chicken ornaments last year but still have it even though it's obviously stuck together with glue ! Hope you can mend it.
Lesley-Jean
i broke my chicken mug this morning What a horror Try M&S web site. It has been mentioned in another thread. Here
Cate in NZ
Ooops, what a shame Laura. They do have some very nice mugs in the M&S range, I'm very tempted myself, but somehow it's a strangely sad event when you break a favourite mug. I swear that tea tastes better drunk from my favourite mug, ridiculous really I know, but I'd be very upset if I was to break it
Lesley-Jean
Yes I agree Kate A. We are such creatures of habbit aren't we.
Popcorn
oh yes agreeing here too. I just have to have my tea in my favourite china mug. It's as old as the hills and is full of tea stains (which I could probably clean if I tried harder) and not very desirable looking, but it's just the job Sympathies to you Laura - hope you find a suitable replacement soon. Sheilaz
Oh, I know the feeling, poor you! I'm going to call it "Laura's Law". It states that, if you should break a cup, it will be your favourite irreplaceable one. Those that were bought for 10p bargain, before we had good taste , will survive forever completely unchipped. So, very sad Laura, but at least you have a scientific principle named after you now! Tea? Hope you don't make it with the bag in the mug? Must be boiling water into a warmed teapot. Then served in bone china tea cup. (I have ultra large size tea cup!) OK, a mug if you like, but must be good china! Weak for me please. I must find a chicken teapot before next birthday! Hope you manage to get a new mug soon Laura.
