Janty
They will be repeating it apparently. It's been quite a popular story today on the radio.

Janty
I have some eggs ready for the man who is going to collect her and I thought that I would give him some money to cover his petrol. What do you think? I also thought that I would take some eggs into the local radio station to say thanks to them for their help.
Luthien
I'm SO glad you've found her! she'll be so famous that she (Mistle toe) will be signing autographs next! Carol U
Just logged on to find all this drama! So glad that Misletoe has been found safely. I bet you can't wait to get her home. I expect she'll be pretty relieved too to be back on familiar ground among her mates. Well done with all your efforts - local radio was a stroke of genius! Do let us know how she is when she gets back.

Janty
I'm just impatient now to get her back. The man can't collect her until this afternoon...the hours are going very slowly.
BeckyBoo
I started reading this with a real sense of dread but I'm SO pleased to see a happy ending, must be hard waiting for her but at least you know she's OK. Maybe the local TV station would pick it up, they could REALLY do something for the BHWT! Anyway, glad to hear you're all well, bit of wing clipping required maybe? Goosey Lucy
Great story, Janty. Even better beause it has a happy ending. Now, who is going to play you in the real-life tv drama film of the event? If the Tamworth pigs got a film made about them I see no reason why Mistletoe shouldn't have one either! Janty
I reckon Dawn French would be a good candidate to play me. We have just been in to the local butchers and they asked was it one of our hens on the radio. She is a bit of a celebrity...she would have to play herself in the tv role. Janty
The two presenters of the morning show have just been given some eggs. They are really pleased that she's coming home.I gave them the eggs in the Omlet boxes and one of them was saying that he would really like to keep hens again. I told hime to look at the website. Guest
oh thank goodness she's been found, hope they're feeding her till you can get her. isn't it funny, i always believe things happen for a reason (as cliched as that sounds) and it seems a lot of good has come out of her little adventure. She deserves treats when she gets home I think xxx

Goosey Lucy
I would suggest a stern talking to first tho! The little madam needs to know how much stress she's put you thro and how many people have been looking for her! Then her favourite treats

Guest
What a wonderful story Janty. I too thought the worst, especially after leaving her in an alley way by the Fish and chip shop. That must be the worst place with predatory foxes sniffing around. I am so, so pleased. Absolutely thrilled to bits for you. What a very precious girl little Mistletoe is!
